DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCE MANAGEMENT Natural Resource Management Banner Natural Resources Management (NRM) refers to the sustainable utilization of major natural resources, such as land, water, air, minerals, forests, fisheries, and wild flora and fauna. Together, these resources provide the ecosystem services that underpin human life.

Courses Offered/Department Overview

The Department of NRM at College of Horticulture, Bermiok, Sikkim addresses different NRM related issues and deliver the various courses of NRM as prescribed by the 5th Deans’ Committee Report of ICAR. Currently, the Department of NRM is headed by Dr. Sunil Kumar Chongtham, Assistant Professor (Agronomy) in association with experts/ faculty members of other constituent colleges. Department of NRM offers following course as prescribed by the Vth Deans’ Committee report of ICAR, New Delhi.
