DEPARTMENT OF POST HARVEST TECHNOLOGY Department Banner The Department of Post-Harvest Technology at COH, Bermiok deals with overall post-harvest management of fruits and vegetables from farm to fork. The Department of Post-Harvest Technology at COH is well equipped with all advanced analytical equipment and processing appliances. The students are expected to gain knowledge on various management technologies for pre-harvest and post-harvest of fruits and vegetables.
Apart from these, instruments required for packaging of different fresh and value-added products have also been placed. Dr. S. Vinodh, Assistant Professor, is I/C Head of the Department of Post-Harvest Management. Department of Post-Harvest Technology under broad discipline of Horticulture offering courses as prescribed by the Fifth Deans’ Committee report to complete the 04 years B.Sc. (Hons) degree requirement of Horticulture graduate.
